Official website Outhouse Comic Michael Lachance
2025
New comedy about aging, dating, and life in Nebraska. Reverse cow tipping? You stand in one place, eat grass, and pretend you're a cow. Then, you wait, through the night, for a real cow to knock you over; it's exciting.
Michael lived in west Ft. Lauderdale, FL on the cusp of the everglades. He was a fort builder, horse rider, hiker, adventurer, Disney World nut, party goer-like Cathode Rays and Backstreet, bad at math school kid, 80's child: David Bowie - Let's Dance, Prince -1999, Billy Idol - Rebel Yell, Neil Diamond - America, all the movies that made us human: Sixteen Candles, Uncle Buck (giant pancakes!), Duckie from Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club geek, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Weird Science (mall scene!), Stand by Me - Gordie Lachance (You have to ask?), Foot Loose (Yeah!), The Goonies (he loves adventurers!).
After that, he joined the Air Force. After basic training in Texas, he traveled to California to Asia to South America to Europe, an island in the Pacific, and an island in the Mediterranean.
His comedy is about slices of life. There's the story about the time he saw a hog fly. He has a story about a time his grandpa opened his 25 tier tackle box with live bait shop, convenience store, and snack bar. There's the story about deep sea fishing and, in open water, the bow went up, disappeared into a wave, washed them to the back of the boat, and then grandpa got up and said, "time to fish." Dating was scary with most dates, Michael brought a nose hair trimmer and a doctor's note just in case.
Michael is a writer. Life has a swath of stories to tell! His passion is romance where, against the odds, love overcomes - like the angry aunt who thinks your boyfriend soon to be husband should be thrown to the curb or the Roman soldier who battles barbarians for the love of his witch.
He is a member of Romance Writers of America, Romance Authors of the Heartland, Goodread's Author, and Amazon Author. He is a stand-up comic and does benefits to support charity.
Thank you and best to you this coming year.
Yours truly,
Michael
